Senior Pastry Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Operations Manager to lead our bakery and cafe's pastry operations. This is a full-time position based in our East Region location.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative, seasonal menus that align with our brand and customer preferences
- Manage and mentor a team of skilled chefs, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated and working efficiently
- Oversee pastries preparation, presentation and service to guarantee consistent quality and timely delivery
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering and budgeting for the pastry department
- Collaborate with management to identify new opportunities and continuously improve operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a reputable cafe, restaurant or bakery
- Passion for baking and pastry
- Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene and inventory management
- Creativity and a flair for developing innovative menu items
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry operations, excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team. They will also have a passion for baking and pastry, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
