We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Minister of Worship Operations at Barker Road Methodist Church. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:- Service Planning and Coordination
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating worship services, including preparing slides, maintaining liturgical furnishings, and ensuring the smooth execution of operational workflows in the Worship & Music ministry.
- Prepare slides for weekly English services using relevant software tools
- Maintain and change liturgical cloths according to liturgical seasons
- Care for and maintain liturgical furnishings in various worship venues
- Update Altar Books with correct Great Thanksgivings at each Communion Service
- Maintain stock of Holy Communion elements and prepare them for services
- Liaise with third parties for special offerings
- Submit song reports to CCLI
The successful candidate will also provide support for worship services, including rostering ushers and communion assistants, briefing assistants on serving Holy Communion, and assigning tasks as required.
- Roster ushers for regular English services and special services

- Assign communion assistants to their stations
The successful candidate will serve as liaison with the floral ministry, providing inputs and feedback on the general spiritual health of the ministry, and executing programs and activities with sound budgeting and financial management.

- Diploma or higher in a closely-related field
