We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AVP Project Finance Specialist to join our team at OCBC Bank. As a key member of our Wholesale Corporate Marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing project finance and export credit agency finance business in the region.
- Develop and execute project finance and export credit agency finance business in the region, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in the entire credit origination, due diligence, documentation, and execution process, including the assessment of credit risk and structuring, preparation of credit applications, and management of documentation.
- Assist in originating new transactions in the region, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Monitor trends within the sectors and stay up-to-date with market knowledge and its impact on the portfolio and new business prospects.
- Help manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including relationship bankers, credit, and overseas branches, as well as external stakeholders, such as clients, structured finance banks, and advisors.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structured and project finance, with a strong understanding of credit and structuring skills.
- Sound credit and structuring skills to justify credit merits to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong financial modeling capabilities, with the ability to analyze numbers and make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask, with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, driven, self-motivated, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
