The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the position of Heritage Curator.

About the Role

This role involves conducting research, developing storylines, and working with key stakeholders to conceptualise exhibition topics related to the history, culture, and heritage of the Chinese community in Singapore.

You will be responsible for writing exhibition panel texts and captions in English and Mandarin, and engaging with experts and academics in the course of developing storylines. Excellent project management skills and the ability to tailor complex curatorial concepts to cater to different audiences are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and co-develop storylines for permanent exhibitions, special exhibitions, and travelling exhibitions on the history, culture, and heritage of the Chinese community in Singapore.
  • Develop storylines for exhibition topics related to the history, culture, and heritage of the Chinese community in Singapore.
  • Work with researchers to conceptualise and develop storylines for exhibition topics related to the history, culture, and heritage of the Chinese community in Singapore.
  • Write exhibition panel texts and captions in English and Mandarin.
