Senior Data Engineer Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Data Engineer Lead. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our data engineering function.

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of our enterprise data warehouse and associated data pipelines on Azure.
  • Implement the data engineering roadmap, ensuring alignment with the product roadmaps of our Data Analytics domain.
  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle including design, development, deployment, and support, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts, Product Managers, and data architects to deliver robust, timely, and accurate data solutions.
  • Establish engineering excellence through coding standards, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in data engineering with significant experience in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience building and managing enterprise data platforms, preferably on Azure.
  • Deep expertise in Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT design patterns, data governance, and security best practices.
