Job Overview

As an Equipment Owner, you will assess, select, and justify the most suitable and cost-effective equipment for the production of company products. You will oversee the installation, modification, enhancement, and upkeep of manufacturing machinery. Collaborate with suppliers to troubleshoot equipment challenges and manage vendor performance to meet or exceed equipment KPIs, MTTR, MTBF, and objectives. Initiate projects and devise solutions aimed at increasing uptime, throughput, cost efficiency, and resolving equipment issues impacting the manufacturing workflow. Proficient in reviewing Process SPC data, configuring equipment FDC, and machine control. Familiarity with Fabguard applications is essential. Strive to improve and achieve the equipment FDC OOC rate for SECS/GEM capable machinery. Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams. Develop and document preventative maintenance protocols and schedules. Conduct training sessions for shift personnel (PM operators, Technicians & Engineers). Mentor shift engineers in hardware troubleshooting, generate troubleshooting documentation, and create equipment OCAP for team sharing.

Qualifications

Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience with SUSS, TEL Track, SCREEN, and EVG equipment. Additional experience with exposure equipment is advantageous. Willingness to work overtime if necessary, including in a cleanroom setting. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and adhere to specific procedures. Strong technical expertise and knowledge of semiconductor processing and equipment (Lithography). Experience in repairing and maintaining various Wafer Bonder, Developer, and Coater equipment operations and related challenges. Proficient in technical writing for equipment procedures, 8D, FMEA, RA, and Incident Reports. Capable of collaborating with cross-departmental teams on ICAR/8D resolutions with proper implementation of measures. Knowledgeable in using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues (e.g., Multimeter, flow meter, TC wafer, TRH data logger, and hand tools). Experienced in reviewing equipment purchase requirements in collaboration with other departments for new equipment acquisitions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong initiative and ability to work independently with a results-oriented mindset. Must possess a positive attitude and be a team player.
