Trade Finance Officer Job Description

A Trade Finance Officer plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of trade transactions. Their primary responsibility is to oversee and follow up on daily trade operations, ensuring timely completion and accuracy. This involves reconciliations of transactions, checking trade invoices and shipping documents, and completing data entry tasks for AML/EWSS checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and follow up on daily trade operations with business units or customers
  • Perform reconciliations of transactions
  • Check trade invoices and shipping documents
  • Complete data entry for AML/EWSS checks
  • Perform maker role for collection of fees
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor
  • Other operational and administrative functions

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, risk management principles, and financial markets. They must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
