As a Senior Governance and Compliance Manager at the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of governance and member service activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Investigation and Disciplinary Process (ICDC), coordinating Annual General Meetings (AGMs), and providing secretariat support for Council and other governance committees.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong writing skills, and exceptional organisational abilities. A degree in a relevant field, preferably Accountancy or Business, is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have at least 2 years of managerial experience, with a proven track record in governance and compliance.
- Manage the ICDC process, ensuring adherence to governance standards.
- Liaise with legal advisors, ICDC panel members, and other stakeholders to manage disciplinary cases.
- Assist with reviewing policies and rules relating to governance and membership.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Ethics Pronouncement. They will also oversee the nomination process for ISCA Committees and Council election, provide secretariat support for Council meetings, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting for AGMs.
