Job Opportunity

This is a permanent role for a client in the EPC construction sector.

As a Lead Static/Package Engineer, you will be responsible for leading design and engineering activities for static equipment and packaged systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineer static equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, boilers, and furnaces.
  • Review and verify technical specifications, equipment data sheets, mechanical calculations, and other engineering deliverables.
  • Prepare technical documentation for procurement and support vendor selection.
  • Manage layout coordination and interface resolution with internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
  • Review and track vendor documents, support quality assurance, and coordinate inspections.
  • Participate in FATs, site visits, HAZOPs, shop inspections, and provide engineering support during construction and commissioning phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of ASME codes, storage tanks, pressure equipment, and industrial package design.
  • Proficient in mechanical design software such as PVElite and COMPRESS.
  • Demonstrated leadership in engineering coordination, vendor management, and project delivery.
  • Experience in site engineering, commissioning, and troubleshooting is essential.
