**About the Role**:
We are representing a **prestigious client**in the EPC sector who is currently seeking a **Lead Static / Package Engineer**to join their high-performing engineering team.

This is a key technical leadership role supporting major oil & gas and petrochemical projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead design and engineering activities for **static equipment**such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, boilers, and furnaces, as well as packaged systems including PSA units, cooling towers, scrubbers, conveyors, and loading arms.
- Review and verify technical specifications, equipment data sheets, mechanical calculations, and other engineering deliverables.
- Prepare technical documentation for procurement, perform bid evaluations, and support vendor selection.
- Manage layout coordination and interface resolution with internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
- Review and track vendor documents, support quality assurance, and coordinate inspections.
- Participate in **FATs, site visits, HAZOPs, shop inspections**, and provide engineering support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in work processes and contribute to skill development within the department.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least **15 years of relevant experience**in the oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
- In-depth understanding of ASME codes, storage tanks, pressure equipment, and industrial package design.
- Proficient in mechanical design software such as **PVElite**and **COMPRESS**.
- Demonstrated leadership in **engineering coordination, vendor management, and project delivery**.
- Experience in **site engineering, commissioning, and troubleshooting**is essential.
- Familiarity with **Shell DEPs, ExxonMobil GPs, and Chevron CES**standards is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel or be assigned on-site as project needs arise.
