Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our inpatient pharmacy team. As a pharmacist in this role, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medication reconciliation, dispensing, and provide specialized counseling to patients.
- Provide drug information to other healthcare professionals and participate in on-call services on a rotational basis.
- Evaluate and ensure the appropriateness of medication orders and discharge prescriptions.
- SUPERVISE PHARMACY TECHNICIANS AND ASSISTANTS, AS REQUIRED.
- Contribute to hospital projects as assigned by Principal Pharmacist and/or Senior Manager.
- Maintain accurate inventory control systems and manage the distribution of drugs.
Requirements:
- Possess a recognized Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) degree.
- Hold a valid practicing pharmacist license.
- Be registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
- Have at least one year of experience in a hospital inpatient setting.
- Ability to work on-call without overnight shifts currently.
