**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**(A) SPECIFIC (100%)**
- Assists the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders for inpatient dispensing which includes typing, picking, packing, labeling and distribution of drug supplies to the wards and other hospital departments.
- Ensures accurate record keeping of prescriptions.
- Assists in providing quality customer service, e.g. through answering telephone enquiries.
- Receives, unpacks and checks stocks against the appropriate documents to ensure that items supplied are correct and accounted for.
- Arranges stocks onto their respective stock shelves in First-Expiry First-Out (FEFO) order.
- Plans schedule and tops up medications generated by cart-fill orders.
- Assists in monitoring and maintaining inventory of stocks in the areas of work.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the pharmacy work areas by cleaning Pharmacy equipment, helping with maintenance of equipment and supplies and prepares work areas for daily operations.
- Other duties as directed by the supervisors.
- Supports the hospital by participating actively in the various activities organized by the hospital. Activities include QC, community projects, staff welfare and recreational activities and etc.
