Product Development Specialist

The role of Senior Technologist involves collaborating with the RDA team to carry out various activities, including product development and application. The successful candidate will be based in Singapore at Kerry's Global Technology & Innovation Centre (GTIC).
Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing formulations for dairy applications, applying functional ingredients, conducting pilot trials and bench-top experiments, translating customer or market needs into technical solutions, and providing technical support to customers.
- Develop and optimize formulations for dairy applications, such as dairy beverages, yoghurt, cream, butter, etc.
- Apply functional ingredients in dairy matrices to meet sensory, nutritional, shelf-life targets, and driving collections from multiple core technologies.
- Conduct pilot trials, bench-top experiments, and sample making.
- Translate customer or market needs into technical solutions and prototypes.
- Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and regulatory teams, and other functions on projects.
- Provide technical support to customers, including capability presentations, troubleshooting, and on-site application support if needed.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food or Process Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field within Applied Sciences is required.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in dairy product development and application, including but not limited to dairy beverages, yogurt, cream, and similar products.
Practical experience operating laboratory and pilot-scale dairy processing equipment is necessary.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning about ingredients and recipe formulation is essential.
