Sales/Trading Expert for Marine Fuels

We are seeking a seasoned Sales/Trading expert within the Energy sector or maritime industry.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and organisational skills to engage in the purchase and sale of marine fuel and associated products.
This team collaborates with a portfolio of counterparties to foster profitable and longstanding relationships while maintaining a risk-aware perspective on credit risk and payment performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Market Development: Proactively market to new and existing customers to increase inquiries and promote our products and services;
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate openly with other traders to share market and customer intelligence and support international colleagues in managing inbound inquiries from regional offices;
- Negotiation and Order Management: Analyse market conditions, identify counterparty needs, provide product and price information, negotiate deals, and handle order processing and administration;
- Credit Risk Management: Manage credit risk by ensuring timely collection of late payments, minimising costs of claims, and assessing counterparty financial strength;
- Business Expansion: Develop and expand our business portfolio through our global network and maximise all sales opportunities.
