Job Title:

Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating chemical production equipment and machines to produce fragrance products of varying complexity.

The role involves following established procedures, batch instructions, and records in production. Key responsibilities include performing commissioning and qualification activities, independently executing chemical processes, selecting intermediates or raw materials, moving and loading into production machines, performing in-process quality testing, identifying deviations, documenting and communicating them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, contributing to continual improvement efforts, understanding bill of materials and/or formula specifications, manufacturing product in a safe and timely manner according to predefined process instructions, accurately reading control instruments and preparing neat and accurate records for all operations as required, performing maintenance on the production equipment, troubleshooting complex problems independently and providing recommendations for correction, preparing product packaging for next step in production or for final shipment to customer according to department specifications, maintaining neat, orderly and clean shop floor and workplace at all times, completing all sanitation and housekeeping duties as required, working in accordance with all relevant requirements including but not limited to GMP, OSHA and internal safety guidelines, providing on-the-job training for new operators and guidance to less experienced employees, working independently without close supervision and as a team player, and incidental lift objects of 25 kg.

Requirements:
  • A diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or manufacturing related field is preferred.
  • N/O Levels or NTC with relevant experience is also acceptable.
  • Secondary Level or equivalent with considerable experiences in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or manufacturing related fields is considered.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or manufacturing related fields is required.
Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
  • Basic knowledge of computer skills, including competency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in operating forklifts and/or in-house fork truck certification is an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of cGMP manufacturing processes and cGDP.
  • Experience in operating RF devices.
