VP, Group Cash, Payments Product Manager, Cross-border Payments, Global Transaction Services

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager to lead our cross-border payments product development team at DBS Bank. As a key member of our Global Transaction Services team, you will be responsible for driving new capabilities and initiatives for cross-border payments solutions across the group.
Key Responsibilities- Drive end-to-end product development, including ideation, defining user requirements, developing business cases, and working with technology and operations partners to execute tech builds, testing, and deployments.
- Identify and implement opportunities to drive payments innovation, revenues, and volumes, focusing on digital innovations and disruptions in the payments landscape.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing partners to develop customer value propositions, pitch books, marketing collateral, and training materials.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to lead customer/partnership engagements, technical workshops, trainings, and other related industry engagement activities across the region.
- Monitor new technological advancements, such as blockchain, IoT, 5G, and evaluate their applicability to solve real customer problems in the cross-border payments space.
- Perform regular competitive landscape analysis, including pricing, services, features, etc., to ensure effective market positioning of our product offerings.
- Drive consistency of product offerings across the region and establish regular cadence with in-country teams to drive commercialization and scale.
- Review and ensure proper processes and controls are in place for risk mitigation and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in cross-border payments, preferably product management, in Asian markets.
- Extensive experience in cross-border payments, SWIFT, ISO20022, and DLT technology.
- Track record in managing, developing, and launching new products.
- Strong knowledge of cross-border and domestic collections and payment schemes, with a good grasp of fintech's and disruptions in the payments and collections space.
- Strong market research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, able to address business-specific issues through obtaining and analyzing data.
- Demonstrated success in client engagement and engaging internal partners to product development and commercialization.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills, with experience working in cross-functional and cross-location projects.
- Highly adaptable, self-starter, able to deal with ambiguity, and thrives in fast-moving and high-growth environments.
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and good understanding of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Qlikview, etc.
- A team player who is able to see the big picture and have the ability and resiliency to work through challenges with clear organizational goals in mind.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline.
