At FURAMA PTE. LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Executive to join our team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounts receivable ledger, following up on credit card collections, and processing commissions. They will also issue invoices and credit notes to customers, perform general cashier functions, and record-keeping activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare credit card report summaries and reconcile to collection
  • Monitor rooms commission and submit monthly reports for review and approval
  • Issue invoices and credits to customers and follow up on billing enquiries
  • Prepare invoices for all rental and other disbursements for review
  • E nsure compliance with hotel guest and city ledger accounts receivable procedures
  • Familiar with hotel front desk cashiering and night audit procedures
  • Check each batch of accounting postings against the city ledger credit card and batch control sheet
  • Prepare trade accounts receivable aged analysis
  • Assist in preparation of correspondence related to disputed and questionable accounts
  • Compute and prepare travel agents and shipping commissions
  • Responsible for proper handling of daily cash and other receipts, making regular bank deposits
  • Arrange for buying and selling of foreign currencies, maintaining foreign currency records
  • Prepare and submit various reports, including daily currency exchange report and banking summaries
Requirements

We require an ACCA Level 2 or LCC Higher Diploma in Accounting graduate with good knowledge of accounting and the ability to work under pressure. A minimum of 3 years of experience is necessary.

Estimated Salary: SGD $45,000 - $55,000 per annum
