Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to oversee the execution of electrical and instrumentation works on site. The successful candidate will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Plan and enforce electrical and instrumentation works according to schedule and specified targets.
  • Work closely with contractors to maintain material and works quality/standards according to project specification.
  • Monitor and update daily manpower reports and feedback any lacks.
  • Engage sub-contractors and plan for priority activities in line with sequence of works.
  • Coordinate site activities with other trades.
  • Monitor and anticipate possible shortages of materials.
  • Ensure site execution is in line with the plan and according to the sequence of works with proper supervision.
  • Attend weekly sub-con meetings and provide feedback on site problems and solutions.
  • Guide and support sub-contractors on work details.
  • Supervise and monitor every aspect of work status and progress.
  • Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to the planning department.
  • Responsible for clearance of in-house and client punch lists.
  • Prepare requests for inspection according to approved ITPs.
  • Direct involvement in safety controls and participate in safety programs.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in marine/shipyard operations involving site electrical and instrument supervision works.
  • Self-driven, independent, and resourceful individual.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
