Accounts Cum CAD Drafter Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts cum CAD Drafter to join our team. This role combines technical drafting and basic accounting responsibilities, providing exposure to both operational and financial aspects of construction projects.

  • Drafting & Technical Duties:
  • Review project scope, drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare shop drawings, BIM/Revit models, and fabrication drawings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and project teams for approvals.
  • Provide value engineering proposals and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support procurement and production with bill of materials.
  • Conduct site coordination, material inspection, and QA/QC checks.
  • Track and report work progress according to project schedule.
  • Accounts & Administrative Support:
  • Handle basic accounting tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and expense tracking.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, purchase orders, and project costing reports.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors on billing, payments, and documentation.
  • Maintain proper filing of project and accounting records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the project and accounts team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit & BIM Modelling is an advantage.
  • Basic accounting knowledge or willingness to learn.
  • Able to read and interpret architectural & structural drawings.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible, polite, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
