Job Overview:

The Science Support Associate will provide administrative support to teachers on various duties related to science laboratories. Key responsibilities include preparing apparatus and materials, maintaining equipment, updating inventory lists, and assisting with science events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare necessary apparatus and materials for science lessons
  • Maintain equipment and apparatus in the science room
  • Update inventory lists and identify non-functional items
  • Assist teachers with supervision of students during lab work
  • Collate materials for purchase and liaise with teachers
  • Help teachers buy perishable items for science experiments
  • Support science teachers with school events and registration
  • Perform other assigned duties as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience working in a similar role in a primary school setting
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working Arrangements:

Monday to Thursday: 6:45am to 3:45pm

Friday: 6:45am to 3:15pm

No services required on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays

Contract Period:

11 months
