Vessel Operations Expert
Job Title: Vessel Operations ManagerJOB DESCRIPTION
A high standard of safe and pollution-free vessel operations is essential for success in this role. Ensure that company policies related to Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality Assurance (HSEQA) are effectively implemented.
  1. Overall management of assigned vessels includes close communication with stakeholders, compliance to owners and charterers requirements, monitoring of Marine and Technical Operations, Daily maintenance and repairs, Budgeting and control, Surveys, certification, Inspections and Docking.
  2. Keep abreast of international regulations / legal requirements and ensure assigned vessels comply to these.
  3. Provide technical assistance and advice to ships.
  4. Carry out periodical technical and operational compliance audit and ensure vessel is always operational ready.
  5. Assist in investigations of all insurance related matter.
  6. Liaise closely with procurement team for sourcing technical and operational supplies required at most economical and competitive rates.
JOB REQUIREMENTSTell Employers What Skills You Have

Key skills required include:
  • Educational Qualification should have COC Class 1 for G.G Vessels for LPG or Bulk Vessels.
  • Must have sailed on LNG or LPG carrier's in the Rank of Chief Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience in construction and maintenance of Cargo Tanks and propulsion systems.
  • Proficient in PMS, ISM, PSC, Flag & Class requirements.
  • Previous working experience of at least two years handling Foreign Going vessels as Technical Superintendent.
