The Event Operations Director is responsible for leading the operational delivery of high-impact events, ensuring seamless execution from concept to reality.

This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual to manage multiple events concurrently, lead cross-functional teams, and oversee logistics, vendor coordination, venue management, and on-site setup/teardown.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute end-to-end event operations, including logistics, risk assessments, and health and safety compliance.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and deliverables while mitigating risks and adapting to changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand client needs, provide updates, and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive repeat business and satisfaction.
  • Direct on-site operations, supervising staff, and resolving issues in real-time.
  • Perform post-event evaluations, collect feedback, and prepare performance reports to identify improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in event operations or management, ideally in experiential or mass scale events with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple events concurrently and leading teams, with exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams, clients, and partners.
