Electrical Project Manager Job

The Electrical Project Manager role is responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion. This includes managing teams, resolving site issues, and coordinating with main contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of supervisors, workers, and sub-contractors to execute works within given timeframes.
  • Resolve site issues with supervisors, sub-contractors, vendors, main contractors, and related third parties.
  • Coordinate site works, workflows, and inspections with main contractors' site representatives, including attending site coordination meetings.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor weekly work activities with a team of supervisors in accordance with the master schedule.
  • Monitor work progress, productivities, qualities, and materials usage, ensuring these meet targeted schedules, productivities, qualities, and quantities.
  • Enforce and monitor all supervisors, workers, and sub-contractors adhere to safety, health, and environment rules and regulations.
  • Prepare shop drawings, 'AS-BUILT' drawings, and Materials Bill of Quantities required for the project.
  • Coordinate with main contractors and third parties on Combined Services Drawing (CSD) and resolve any clashes prior to construction.
  • Attend all tools box meetings and all safety meetings.
  • Implement Testing & Commissioning plan.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience; those with more years of experience will be considered for senior positions.
  • Building Construction Safety Supervisor course and any other WSH-related certificates.
