Job Title: Associate, Private Equity Funds

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our team in Singapore, focusing on India-focused funds and co-investments.
  • You will be responsible for leading buyside firm relationships with key Asia Private Equity managers.
  • Your primary focus will be on a variety of fund investments (regional, country-focused, growth, buyout) and co-investments across different countries and industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal underwriting - work as part of a small deal team to execute Private Equity fund commitments as well as co-investments.
  • Assist with portfolio monitoring and maintain relationships with existing fund managers and co-investments.
  • Represent the team in fund managers' investor conferences; meetings with senior leadership of PE fund managers; and interactions with management teams of their portfolio companies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a Private Equity fund or Investment Banking.
  • Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills, able to conduct comprehensive research and synthesize results.
  • Good written, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Positive work attitude, high energy with drive and initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and demonstrate maturity and integrity to interact confidently with senior colleagues.
  • Must have prior experience in India markets.
