Roles & Responsibilities
  • Based in Singapore
  • Leading buyside firm
  • India focused Funds & Co-Investments (Buyout, growth funds)

Responsibilities would include:

  • Responsible for the firm's relationships with key Asia Private Equity managers
  • Work on a variety of fund investments (e.g. regional, country focused, growth, buyout) and co-investments (across different countries and industries)
  • Deal Underwritingfina - Work as part of a small deal team to execute Private Equity fund commitments as well as co-investments
  • Assist with portfolio monitoring and maintain relationships with existing fund managers and co-investments
  • Represent team in fund managers' investor conferences; meetings with senior leadership of PE fund managers; and interactions with management teams of their portfolio companies
  • Primary focus on India market

Profile of ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 1-3 relevant years of experience in a Private Equity fund or Investment Banking
  • Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills, able to conduct comprehensive research and synthesize results
  • Good written, communication and organizational skills
  • Positive work attitude, high energy with drive and initiative
  • Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and demonstrate maturity and integrity to interact confidently with senior colleagues
  • Must have prior experience in India markets
