Job Description:

We're seeking a seasoned security professional to oversee our operations in Southeast Asia. As part of the global Bloomberg Security Operations team, you will ensure the safety and security of employees, facilities, and business operations.

You will actively build, shape, and develop our security programs, including Global Health and Life Safety, and Incident Management. Your central role will be to develop an organizational resilience culture within the company.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with oversight of all security operations and emergency preparedness functions, including physical, event, and travel security, incident response, and life safety.
  2. Mitigate risks to employees, facilities, and business operations through regional-specific exercises and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partnering effectively with the Incident Management Team (IMT), office bureau chiefs, and department managers.
  4. Partner with the Enterprise Resilience and Incident Management (ERIM) team to identify and assess threats and events that have the potential to impede life, safety, or operational incidents.
  5. Ensure the timely escalation and resolution of incidents to minimize business disruption, working closely with the IMT.
  6. Oversee and drive the Global Health and Life Safety (GHLS) program within APAC, ensuring adherence to local occupational health and safety standards.
  7. Expand our emergency response program across APAC in collaboration with the IMBC, GHLS, and Security Operations team.
  8. Design, implement, and oversee security for large-scale events.
  9. Identify opportunities to enhance, streamline, and refine our security program, coordinating with the business and leadership on improvements.
