Job Description:

The Senior Mechanical Installation Specialist is a key role that ensures the quality of our projects by coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to meet customer expectations.

  • Analyze site conditions to develop effective installation strategies and coordinate with customers to resolve issues effectively.
  • Utilize engineering expertise, particularly in design and knowledge of building services code of practice, to ensure high-quality installations that meet ISO quality standards through regular inspections and audits.
  • Coordinate and monitor supplier deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor installations to maintain project timelines and prevent rework.
  • Prepare detailed installation plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage work schedules to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist managers in day-to-day activities, focusing on master planning, quality control, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with main contractors to minimize waste and ensure timely progress.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers and subcontractors to avoid delivery delays and ensure timely progress.
  • Conduct regular site visits to identify non-conforming products or installations and take corrective action to prevent defects.
  • Explore innovative technologies and installation methods to boost productivity and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Singaporean or Permanent Resident status.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 and OSHAS 18000 (minimum requirement).
  • ISO Internal Quality Auditor certification.
  • Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course completion.
  • Experience working with subcontractors is advantageous.
