Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the construction quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical installations meet the required standards and specifications.
The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems installation, including piping, ducting, and air conditioning and ventilation (ACMV) systems. You will be responsible for conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with method statements and project requirements.
In this role, you will also be responsible for liaising with clients and consultants to ensure that all method statements used have obtained approval. You will perform site checks to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with the Works Quality Plan and client requirements.
Your expertise will include executing quality control as per site specific materials and ensuring that all controlled documents are administered effectively. You will also monitor undertaken corrective and preventive actions against non-conformities and its recurrence.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least a Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant QA/QC experiences
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems installation, including piping, ducting, and ACMV systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
