We are seeking a skilled Senior/Data Analyst to play a crucial role in supporting our organisation's data-driven decision-making processes and innovation initiatives.

Data Strategy and Management (40%)

  • Support the HOD to collaborate with JHC Transformation office to implement data strategies that align with organisational transformation efforts.
  • Design and maintain data extraction scripts, data tables, dashboards and reports to support advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.

Data Analytics and Visualisation (40%)

  • Create interactive dashboards and visualisations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Conduct complex data analysis using advanced statistical methods and/or machine learning techniques.
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.

Business Needs and Requirements Gathering (20%)

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and understand business and data needs.
  • Participate in AI and digital transformation projects, providing data analytics expertise.
  • Be secretariat to relevant meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of data literacy programme in JHC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis (for Senior Data Analyst role), preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
  • Proficient in analytics and visualisation tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau and/or R.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modelling.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in healthcare.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills is a must.
  • Experience with healthcare data and systems (e.g., Electronic Medical Records) is a plus.
  • Clinical Experience is a bonus.
