We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Behavioural Specialist.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Psychologist to work with students with autism on skills development, self-regulation, social communication, and work habits. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing individual behaviour plans.

Key responsibilities include:

Assessment & Report Writing
  • Conduct cognitive assessments and write reports for Access Arrangements for national exams.
  • Conduct and write reports for Mental Capacity for deputyship.
  • Co-develop assessment processes and implement them in other areas of need.
Intervention
  • Develop and deliver individual behaviour plans, manage an emergency support line, and participate in school-wide initiatives on positive approaches to behaviour support.
  • Make necessary referrals to external services where required.
  • Participate in collaborative consultation models with stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver lessons on skills related to work habits, self-regulation, social communication, or life readiness.
  • Provide advice and consultation on evidence-informed practices on autism intervention to senior leaders.
Program Development
  • Contribute to curriculum and program development projects.
Training & Consultation
  • Deliver training, consultation, and instruction to educators on social-emotional and behavioural issues related to autism.
  • Train parents on autism-related issues.
  • Design and deliver training to external stakeholders supporting our students.
