The role of the EMC Test Assistant is to support Project Engineers in conducting Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation, inspection, and diagnosis of EMC test equipment, as well as performing tasks related to facility management and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Engineers in conducting Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing in accordance with MIL-STD-461 testing standards indoors and occasionally outdoors.
- Operate, inspect, and diagnose EMC test equipment for any malfunctions or issues.
- Assist Facility Manager in the management and maintenance of equipment and facilities by liaising with vendors for equipment installation such as security systems like CCTV and machinery.
- Assist Facility Manager in sourcing components/parts and perform inventory records to track stock levels.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of working experience.
- Diploma in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Good communication skills.
- Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and resolve problems faced during testing.
- Able-bodied (some test equipment may be heavy - less than 10kg).
- Open to Singaporeans only.
Working Hours:
Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6.00pm
Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Lunch: 1 hour
