Programme Operations Manager

The Programme Operations Leader will work closely with senior management to ensure the delivery of our conservation strategy. The role will provide operational support and oversight across the entire programme management cycle, covering projects under community, nature, and climate & sustainability themes.
This role requires a strong ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, coordinating with department heads, project managers, WWF staff in implementing offices, and external vendors and stakeholders to support completion of ongoing projects, drive new programme development, and lead programme reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with programme teams to employ WWF project management principles, tools, and practices to achieve successful completion of milestones;
- Monitor programme progress and bring forward potential issues and possible solutions in collaboration with the project managers to the leadership team;
- Collaborate with departments to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for regional and local project evaluations;
- Oversee programme reporting to key stakeholders, including maintaining a detailed project tracker and providing regular reporting to theme teams and the Senior Management Team;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a relevant field;
- At least 10 years of financial/programme management experience within an international organization, audit firm, or charity with complex donor requirements;
- Excellent knowledge of project accounting and programme operation management;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, data visualisation tools, and comfortable working with large data sets;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to prioritise and operate under tight deadlines;
