Spa Receptionist Job Description

The role of a spa receptionist is multifaceted and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. The primary function of this position is to provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their experience at the spa is pleasant and memorable.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the spa, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate services, ensuring they receive the assistance they need in a timely manner.
  • Answer and forward incoming phone calls, responding to client inquiries and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials available.
  • Provide basic and accurate information to clients, either in person or via phone/email, regarding spa services and policies.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, ensuring prompt handling of all correspondence.
  • Order spa supplies and maintain an inventory of stock, preventing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Update calendars and schedules, ensuring smooth operation of the spa's booking system.
  • Keep updated records of expenses and costs, facilitating financial management and decision-making.
