Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our technical teams in the delivery of major and mega Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical services and engineering design of the project, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, codes, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective engineering strategies and plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, including the management of technical deviations and change orders.
  • Ensure that all deliverables related to technical services and engineering design meet the required quality and safety standards.
  • Interface with stakeholders, including project managers, technical authorities, and other company representatives, to resolve technical issues and ensure effective communication.
  • Support the development and implementation of project HSE and QA/QC processes, procedures, and activities.
  • Facilitate and participate in Project Assurance reviews and audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science or Higher in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university; higher degree would be advantageous.
  • Membership of a recognized professional engineering association/institution.
  • A minimum of 18 years' experience in engineering, project management, and execution of major and mega Oil & Gas projects, with a proven track record as an Engineering Manager or Head of Facilities Engineering.
  • Extensive skills in management and leadership, team building, effective communication, conflict resolution, and presentations.
  • Familiarity with international engineering codes, standards, and regulations, as well as project specifications and project management systems.
