Job Title: Senior Technical Lead

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing material handling activities and providing technical expertise to ensure timely project completion.

  • Liaise with the Piping Lead to understand project requirements and address demands in a timely manner.
  • Prepare comprehensive material handling philosophies/specifications, conduct thorough studies on material handling requirements, and establish special lifting equipment.
  • Participate in model reviews to explain material handling facilities and methodology.
  • Closely collaborate with Safety Engineers for safety requirements, including drop object studies.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years' experience working as a Lead Material Handling Engineer in an engineering setup for upstream oil & gas projects (offshore & FPSO projects).
  • Perform in-depth studies for components requiring material handling with respect to weight and component size for various types of equipment.
  • Must have extensive knowledge about all types of cranes and its restrictions.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other equivalent engineering specialization.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent technical communication skills with the ability to present technical issues to design teams, client technical authorities, and approving bodies.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
