Job Overview
">A Mechanical Supervisor oversees the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of tunnel machinery. The role involves supervision of Tunnel Equipment, routine maintenance and troubleshooting, team coordination, compliance and safety, inventory and reporting, and TBM support.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in mechanical works in tunnelling construction field, a strong understanding of mechanical systems in a tunnelling context, hands-on experience with TBM systems, hydraulics, and ventilation units, and able to work shift work, 6 day work week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of tunnel machinery.
- Oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of Tunnel Equipment.
- Coordinate team activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage inventory and report on equipment status.
- Support TBM operations and maintenance.
