Job Title: Senior Mechanical Operations Manager
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Operations Manager to lead our mechanical operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, assembly, and testing of mechanical systems, including piping, valves, and static equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical technicians, fitters, and helpers on site.
- Ensure that all work is executed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Verify that alignment, torqueing, and testing procedures are carried out correctly.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A strong background in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical construction, and at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of mechanical technicians, fitters, and helpers.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including piping, valves, and static equipment.
- Familiarity with project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress measurement.
- Experience coordinating mechanical works with electrical, civil, and commissioning teams.

- Candidates must hold a valid NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent mechanical trade certification.
