Requirements

  • You have a basic knowledge of accounting or have engaged with the bookkeeping process before.
  • You're willing to challenge the norm and take initiative to embrace new ways of thinking and doing.
  • You value risk-taking and are excited about the prospect of becoming a future entrepreneur.
  • You thrive in a remote work environment and can spend 3 months with us.
  • You're fluent in English and preferably know one more language: Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, or Thai.

A Typical Day

As an accounting professional, you'll work on bookkeeping and fair valuation audit tasks. Your day will include:

  • Daily communication of our weekly goals and progress on Slack.
  • Pre-planning your calendar for tasks and activities by reviewing the timeline.
  • 30-60 minutes calls to discuss issues or onboard new processes.
  • Checking our team dashboard daily to understand your next process.
  • Reviewing legal documents, financial data, and meeting notes to organize and request information.
  • Reading about accounting rules and definitions to improve your skills.
  • Watching YouTube tutorials on analysis based on accounting logic.
  • Talking to auditors to answer their questions.
  • Drafting our guidebook for seamless process execution.
