Senior Engineering Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Associate to play a key role in maintaining excellent client relationships and working closely with other engineering divisions and external parties.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Participating in project tendering and leading the provision of engineering solutions and strategy to complex problems
  • Providing technical leadership, performing design reviews, and training junior team members
  • Managing and coordinating projects, including design management and project control

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized University and eligibility for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore)
  • At least 8 years of experience in engineering design consulting practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of design software and good supervision and project management skills
  • Able to work under pressure, plan, organize, and manage time effectively
  • Professional Engineer certification is an advantage
  • Experience in designing and managing major geotechnical building works and/or infrastructure projects will be an asset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Design Review and Development: Conduct thorough design reviews and provide feedback to ensure that designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
