Asian Cuisine Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team and lead the preparation, cooking and serving of various Asian dishes. The ideal candidate will have at least 1–2 years of experience in high-volume kitchen environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare, cook and serve a variety of Asian dishes, including stir-fry, soups, meats and seafood, according to established standards.
- Kitchen Operations: Assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating and portion control.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Management: Ensure proper handling, storage and rotation of food ingredients.
- Teamwork: Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in high-volume kitchen environments (zichar, hawker stall or restaurant environment).
- Education: Must possess a valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Language: Ability to read and speak simple English and Chinese to communicate effectively with foreign colleagues and handle stock ordering.
- Allergies: Must not have food allergies (due to handling of seafood, spices and other ingredients).
- Availability: Willing to work 6 days per week, including weekends, public holidays, and long hours as required by operations.
