Job Description:
As an Automation Process Optimization Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success of our Life Science projects for clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of production processes while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
You will identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement effective optimization strategies to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will provide assistance and guidance to Standard Users with system-related queries and issues, ensuring seamless support.
Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with the production team to guarantee the stability of production processes and the execution of operations. In the event of atypical production situations or emergencies, such as process outages, critical alarms, or equipment failures, you will diagnose issues promptly and take corrective actions to restore normal operations and prevent potential safety or quality incidents.
Apart from manual intervention remediation projects, you will participate in identifying, implementing, and executing test plans for changes made to the system. Adhering to EHS requirements is essential in this position.
You will also be responsible for attending to urgent requests and ensuring timely resolution of issues, providing support for manufacturing operations outside regular office hours. Flexible working arrangements may be required to meet production demands and targets.
Your supervisor may assign additional duties as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in navigating PCS7 systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in optimizing processes and user support.
- Ability to work independently and manage support requests outside regular office hours.
Onsite: 2 weekdays, 8 hours each day
Remote (WFH): Saturday and Sunday, 12 hours each day
Additional Responsibilities:- Coordinate activities and processes for IT Infrastructure assets management.
- Resource management, including onboarding/offboarding/contract extension and headcount tracking and reporting.
- Develop and maintain frameworks, RACI, and end-to-end process/engagement model for onboarding IT Assets.
- Assist with governance of asset inventory, including stock take and checks.
- Ensure contracts are registered in SourcingHub and aligned to Marley Asset Inventory.
- Publish report of CTB/RTB consumption from Pyramid and follow-ups.
