Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and standardizing production processes, creating process documentation (SOPs, Control Plans, station BOMs, etc.), analyzing production anomalies, and proposing improvement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize and standardize production processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Create process documentation (SOPs, Control Plans, station BOMs, etc.) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Analyze production anomalies and propose improvement solutions to address low yield, inefficiency, and other issues.
  • Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and conduct process feasibility assessments to design fixtures and track trial production issues.
  • Maintain mass production operations, troubleshoot unexpected issues, and ensure smooth production.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and cost-saving efficiency projects to continuously improve processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, or related engineering fields.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in manufacturing (exceptional fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software; knowledge of DOE, Six Sigma, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/ISO 13485 or similar quality management systems.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Malay language proficiency is a strong advantage).
  • Strong logical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to drive cross-departmental projects.
