Job Title: Automation Systems Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity to lead a team of experts in maintaining and supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities through real-time problem analysis and solution implementation.

  • Maintain and support existing lines, testers, equipment, and automation projects, including master list updates, preventative maintenance, calibration, providing first-level troubleshooting, and repairing.
  • Work with customers to support new tester setups, new project/line launches, update technical references, PM requirements, and conduct periodic reviews and internal training for knowledge retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve system, network, and equipment problems to improve and sustain present manufacturing production, minimizing downtime and improving productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for various quotes, training, and support.
  • Support various internal and customer audits, including 5S, process compliance, CCC, EHS, and ISO.
  • Actively participate in internal Kaizen projects, new equipment introductions, and new Automation project implementations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Automation, Computer, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Prior experience in PLC-related automation projects is highly preferred.
  • Two years of relevant working experience in top-level assembly manufacturing environments, EMS preferred.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI/Python, and/or any programming language.
