Job Description

Kaplan Higher Education Academy is seeking a Student Progression Advisor to encourage and support students in upgrading to the next level of study. The role focuses on student engagement, retention strategies, and collaboration with internal teams to enhance the student journey and increase internal progression enrolments.

The ideal candidate will have experience in student advisory, academic services, admissions, marketing, or a similar education-related role. They will be proactive, results-driven, and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A Polytechnic Diploma in Marketing or related fields is preferred, along with 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.

The Student Progression Advisor will play a key role in promoting progression opportunities, student retention, and engagement. They will work closely with recruitment, academic, admissions, and student services teams to create a seamless and supportive progression pathway for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Progression Opportunities: Proactively plan and execute outreach initiatives to educate and encourage current students to upgrade to next-level programmes.
  • Student Retention & Engagement and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to create a seamless and supportive progression pathway for students.
  • Campaign & Event Coordination: Partner with the marketing team to launch omni-channel progression campaigns that highlight the benefits of internal progression and student success stories.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Polytechnic Diploma in Marketing or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of experience in student advisory, academic services, admissions, marketing, or a similar education-related role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Strong presentation and event coordination skills.
