Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description:

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in accordance with established standards and procedures. This involves performing venepuncture, sorting and recording blood specimens, and ensuring they are correctly labelled and dispatched to the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venepuncture for the collection of blood specimens.
  • Sort and record all blood specimens collected, and ensure they are correctly labelled and dispatched to the laboratory.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum N/O/A levels or equivalent qualification.
  • Phlebotomy certificate advantageous.
  • Ability to commit to working Mondays - Saturdays, 8:00am - 1pm / 8:30am - 1:30pm.
