Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our laboratory operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related field, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting. They will be familiar with basic analytical techniques, sample testing, and lab documentation, as well as knowledge of ISO 17025 standards and laboratory best practices.

Responsibilities include performing routine sample analysis, reviewing data, and ensuring accurate documentation and verification of results. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting method improvement and development/validation of new analysis procedures and SOP updates.

In addition, the successful candidate will be required to monitor equipment performance (SPC & DL) and ensure lab systems comply with ISO17025. They will maintain and calibrate lab instruments, manage parts and standard solution inventory, and handle routine and retained sample management.

Other key responsibilities include reporting abnormal findings and maintaining instrument data backups, adhering to EHS and lab safety protocols, and maintaining lab cleanliness and housekeeping.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. They should also have at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, preferably from the chemical or semiconductor industry.

Applicants should be familiar with basic analytical techniques, sample testing, and lab documentation, as well as knowledge of ISO 17025 standards and laboratory best practices.
