Job Summary

The ideal candidate will provide strategic support for various allied health departments in a hospital setting.

Primary Responsibilities (80%)
  • Develop and implement project schedules to ensure timely execution of assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate with department leads and operations teams on the submission of the annual IT work plan.
  • Oversee IT planning and execution for allied health departments in an upcoming Integrated General Hospital campus.
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing training to new department users on EPIC modules as a Credentialed Trainer.
  • Evaluate and process EPIC system change requests from users.
  • Ensure integrations between internal systems and external client platforms are secure and compliant.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of departmental IT systems, including cloud-based applications.
  • Upgrade existing IT infrastructure to meet evolving requirements.
  • Enforce IT Standard Operating Procedures in alignment with MOH directives.
  • Lead regular IT audits for assigned allied health departments.
Secondary Responsibilities (20%)
  • Promote AI-driven solutions to streamline daily operations.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators related to cluster initiatives.
  • Participate in informatics-related projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency in allied health areas.
  • Contribute to cross-institutional efforts for harmonizing systems and processes across the cluster.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the reporting officer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or healthcare-related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications in healthcare informatics systems.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Prior experience with EPIC systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, DICOM, HL7 standards, and LAN/WAN & internet connectivity.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and procurement workflows.
  • Good knowledge of information security protocols, network security, and firewall configurations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
