  • Perform As-built and Final Position Surveys: Conduct thorough surveys for modules and critical piping spools to guarantee accurate positioning.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Develop and submit dimensional control reports and deviation notices to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Support QA/QC and Engineering Teams: Provide accurate survey data and drawings to support quality assurance and engineering activities.
Technical Support:
  • Coordinate with Fabrication, Rigging, and Installation Teams: Collaborate with teams to ensure positioning and lifting accuracy during fabrication, rigging, and installation processes.
  • Provide Rework Recommendations: Offer recommendations for non-compliant dimensions to ensure optimal results.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Relevant Field: Hold a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
Specialized Knowledge/Experience:
  • Proficiency in GD&T: Demonstrate proficiency in geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with Dimensional Control Software: Show familiarity with AutoCAD, SpatialAnalyzer, or similar dimensional control software.
  • Understanding of Alignment Principles: Possess an understanding of alignment principles, flange tolerances, and shipyard integration works.
Accreditation/Certification:
  • Survey Equipment Competency: Demonstrate competency in survey equipment usage (Total Station, Laser Tracker, etc.).
  • Safety Training: Possess safety training such as Confined Space Entry, Working at Height.
  • Calibration Training or Documentation Handling Experience: Hold calibration training or documentation handling experience (optional).
