Job Description

As a researcher, you will be part of a dynamic team working on a project focused on the collective motion of bacteria and mechanics of bacterial colonies and biofilms. Your responsibilities will include experimental design and data analysis, theoretical models and numerical calculations, and lab organization and training.

Requirements
  • PhD degree in biophysics, soft matter physics, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in experimental techniques such as microscopy, microfluidics, or rheology OR molecular dynamics simulation or agent-based simulation.
  • Competent in soft skills such as information visualization, oral presentation, etc.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
