The Quantum Science and Engineering Centre (QSec) at NTU represents a significant leap forward in the pursuit of quantum science and engineering excellence. Our mission is to harness the power of quantum technology to drive innovation and progress in various fields.
We are looking for a talented Research Assistant to join our team at QSec. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of our research project on Quantum Sovereignty and Resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support QSec researchers in developing and testing quantum communication protocols and technologies.
- Assist in drafting research reports, academic papers, and proposals related to quantum communication.
- Ensure efficient use of grant funds and maintain compliance with research protocols.
- Facilitate progression of research activities according to grant requirements.
- Co-ordinate research-related events, including seminars, colloquia, and conferences.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of Quantum Cryptanalysis, Post-quantum Cryptography, and related areas.
- Experience in Quantum communications experiments or simulation of quantum systems.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
- Capacity to work collaboratively and independently.
- Open to entry-level candidates.
